For dry & mature skin. Coenzyme Q-10 (Ubiquinone) is a powerful anti-oxidant and also plays a role in collagen synthesis. Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) promotes moisture retention replenishing dry skin. Hyaluronic acid and coenzyme Q-10 are both found naturally in the skin but production levels decrease with age. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, which stimulates collagen synthesis, pairs perfectly with these two ingredients to further aid in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin A is regarded as the single best ingredient for maintaining a youthful complexion as study after study indicates its effects on reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin A in the form of retinyl palmitate is used in this formula. The retinyl palmitate is absorbed by the skin and is then converted to one of the three active forms of Vitamin A (trans-retinoic acid, retinal, or retinol). Retinyl palmitate is a fairly mild form of Vitamin A, however, as with all products containing Vitamin A, you should start with an application of this cream every other night to allow your skin to build tolerance. This cream has been specifically formulated to suit a wide range of skin types. It works equally well for those with dry skin and normal skin (though is not recommended for oily skin). We chose all ingredients based on their non-comedogenic nature (determined through literature research and personal use as none of our products are tested on animals), however, those with acne should use with caution as this cream is fairly heavy.
